Nothing to collect.
Because nothing leaves.

Local Gorilla builds tools that run on your own device or inside your own browser. We do not run servers that sit between you and your work, so for the most part there is simply nothing for us to gather, store or sell. This page says exactly what happens, product by product.

Last updated: 21 July 2026

The short version

You are not the product, so there is nothing to harvest. We hold no account for you, run no analytics, and set no tracking cookies. Your voice, your screen, your keys and your files stay on your machine. When one of our tools talks to an outside service, it is a service you chose (your AI provider, or the page you asked to load), and it goes there directly, not through us.

On your device

The work happens locally. There is no Local Gorilla cloud holding a copy.

No account

No sign-up wall on the free tools. Nothing to log in to, nothing to leak.

No telemetry

No analytics, no tracking pixels, no phone-home. We do not watch you use the tools.

You are the owner

Your data is yours. We are not in the business of selling it, because we never receive it.

What each tool does with your data

Each product is built so the sensitive part never reaches us. Here is the honest, per-tool picture.

my_voice_

Dictation runs entirely on your Mac. The audio is transcribed on-device and never uploaded. We never receive your recordings or your words.

my_eye_

Screen recordings are captured and saved on your own machine, with zero network egress. There is no cloud library and no share link on our servers.

my_demo_

Captures and renders on your machine. It loads the URL you point it at; aim it at a local build and nothing leaves your machine at all. The output files are yours.

Context Copilot

Your API key is stored locally in your browser. Prompts and page content go straight from your browser to the AI provider you chose. We run no backend and never see your key, prompts or pages.

code_mate_

The glossary is local. The optional AI fallback for unknown terms uses your own key and goes browser to provider. No backend, no analytics.

KB_Bridge

Everything you save stays in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a server, ours or anyone's.

This website

The site you are reading is a plain static site. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party trackers, and runs no analytics scripts. Like any web server, the host keeps standard access logs (your IP address, the time, and the page requested), retained briefly for security and reliability, not for profiling.

The "Notify me" buttons open your own email app with a message pre-filled. Nothing is captured by a form; we only ever receive an email if you choose to send one, and only what you put in it.

Paid products and the licence check

Some tools have an optional paid tier. When a paid tier is active, the app performs a minimal licence check to confirm your subscription is live. That check runs once per billing cycle and transmits only your subscription status, one value and nothing else. It never sends your keys, your content, your files or your usage. The free tiers make no such call.

When paid checkout goes live, payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.

Your data, your call

  • There is no account to delete, because we do not create one.
  • Your recordings, transcripts, chat history and saved snippets live on your device or in your browser. Clear them whenever you like, from the tool itself.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data, because we do not hold it.
  • Questions, corrections, or anything at all: email admin@lionsedge.tech.
